The Universitas Foundation is an initiative of a group of university students and professors that tries to promote the personal as well as the professional development of those who work and study at the University.

Currently, the student seems to have lost the willingness to help society. Therefore, this group of students and professors created Universitas to instill this desire to help others which is so necessary in our society. The Universitas Projects pursue two closely united objectives: the formation and the spirit of solidarity in University Students. Our goal is to cultivate in the University students a personal and professional attitude of solidarity which can unfold in their own social surroundings.

The human formation is offered, for example, through different formation courses, which allows students to forge a spirit of teamwork and self-giving by working together to help the needy. Together with the volunteering spirit which gives the university students a human formation, it is also important for those who are in their final part or those who start with their university career to give them academic and professional formation. Consequently, we occupy us to prepare and facilitate access to employment for those who complete their university studies. By organizing courses and seminars, but also with the advising of the students who study in the University or those who will start with their University career. For example the Preuniversitas Program.

A THIRD PILLAR IS THE CULTURAL AND INTELLECTUAL FORMATION. THIS IS DESIGNATED TO PROMOTE THE CAPACITY OF REFLECTION, CRITICAL ANALYSIS AND TO GIVE GOOD AND ADEQUATE RESPONSES IN AN INTERVIEW, SO THAT THE STUDENT IS ABLE TO MATCH THE PLACED NECESSITIES OF SOCIETY. FOR THEM, UNIVERSITAS FOUNDATION HAS DYNAMIC, PRACTICAL AND OPEN ACTIVITIES.

Additionally, on the blog of Universitas (www.universitasmagazine.com), all the volunteers and friends of the Foundation have the possibility to participate in the analysis and debate of up to date social topics. Finally, it should be said that the Foundation sends a monthly newsletter to all who are interested with news about our activities and projects.
